Gótico tropical is a Colombian film distributor that focuses on digital technology, through a virtual platform where they sell and rent movies (shorts, series and documentaries) and that seeks to reach those people who are not aware of the cinema being made in our country. As they themselves define it:”Tropical Gothic is a new narrative to combat the dark reality of film distribution in our country.” Taking the name of the genre created by the Caliwood group of filmmakers, they bring the essence of the independent and alternative.

For the design of the identity of this project, we worked from the point of view of literality, we made a commitment to Gothic letters accompanied by other simpler ones, with highlights very much in the style of the B-series cinema, and a gargoyle with a flower guayabera and sunglasses complement the graphic system.
