In 2018, the previously known Intravenous University Festival became the Cali International Short Film Festival (Cortos Cali). For this tenth edition, we worked from the idea of this change, associating it with the concept of “random mutation”. The Intravenous Festival is mutating into a new form that will likely give it characteristics better adapted to survive. By including categories of professional filmmakers (in competition) in its official selection, it guarantees its essence growth, an opportunity to evolve in the most important short film festival in the city of Cali: Cortos Cali. For this project, a series of printed and audiovisual pieces were made using scientifically styled illustration and personalized typography created in our studio as graphic resources.
